These Terms govern your use of videobox.media (the "Service"), operated by Kaadrivara OÜ ("Videobox", "we", "us"). By creating an account or starting a trial, you agree to them.
1.The Service
Videobox is a subscription video site that publishes a daily ranked selection of restored archival history shorts and provides access to an archive of such content via web streaming. Access to today's pick beyond the free preview, the full ranking, and the archive requires an active trial or paid membership.
2.Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to subscribe. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Membership is for personal use by a single account holder; sharing credentials is not permitted.
3.Free trial
We offer a 7-day free trial that gives full access to today's pick and the archive. The renewal price is shown before you start. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
4.Subscription, auto-renewal & pricing
- After the trial, membership renews automatically at the price shown at checkout — Member at $9.99/month or $99/year, Archivist at $14.99/month or $149/year — on the cycle you selected.
- Renewals continue automatically until you cancel.
- We may change prices with prior notice; changes apply to renewals after the notice period. Taxes may apply depending on your location and are shown at checkout.
5.Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you retain access until the end of the current paid period. To avoid any charge, cancel before the free trial ends.
6.Refunds
In addition to the free trial, your first paid charge is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee, as described on the Refund page. Statutory withdrawal rights under applicable EU consumer law are unaffected.
7.Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, redistribute, publicly perform, scrape, or circumvent access controls on any content. The Service and its content are protected by intellectual-property rights held by Videobox or its licensors and rights-holders.
8.Content & intellectual property
Archival content is provided under licence or with rights clearance where required. Provenance is noted where known. If you believe content infringes your rights, see our DMCA page. Submission terms are described in our Content policy.
9.Availability & changes
We aim for reliable web streaming but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, add, or remove content and features. We do not currently provide native mobile apps, smart-TV apps, offline downloads, or 4K, and make no such commitment.
10.Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Estonian or applicable EU law, including your statutory consumer rights.
11.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
